Jimi Hendrix once said, "You'll never hear surf music again." We will, of course, but we don't have to hear the same surf music over and over again. This web magazine recognizes and salutes those bands and players who, in perhaps small and big ways, endeavor to revitalize the sound of surf.

 

Surf Monster—Michael Molenda (drums), Desmonde Mulcahy (bass), and Steve Walton (guitar)—are true believers, and we are seeking to help expand, promote, evangelize, and support the wonderful surf community we have come to adore. In short, we want to give back and "play" it forward.
